In Form Fantasy, Cecilia Charlton’s artworks toe the line between specificity and subjectivity. The precise application of paint provides a sense of clarity — but the manner of application is in stark contrast to the surrealist nature of the compositions. Ground, gravity, light, and solidity all are brought into question through relentless contradictions. Each element may make sense when inspected in isolation, but when viewed as a whole, the paintings environments are wholly nonsensical. But then, is it possible for the nonsensical to become sensical?

I've been coming here for years and Marshall Violante is the best and is VERY consistent with the quality in service and hair color. I'm very particular and have followed Marshall from Vidal Sasson to Maxine because this girl doesn't like change! So in total , I would say I've been with Marshall 5 years and I don't plan on changing anytime soon. Keep up the great work!

I see Shelly all the time and she's the only one allowed to touch my hair! She's amazing funny and kind. I went to see her after I bleached my hair and was scared it would never be healthy again. Shelly nursed my hair back to health and its original texture. Maxine's Salon is a clean/modern vibe salon with a very friendly group of people. I came in today with a mess (multiple layers and lots of texturing from previous salons) and was fortunate to get an appointment for a haircut with Jonathan. I felt at ease with his recommendations and appreciated his professionalism in assessing what had previously been done. He worked his magic (for nearly 90 minutes) and I left with a very pretty, easy-to-manage style that I love. One feels immediately welcome at Maxine; the vibe is friendly and genuine.
